Inspired by traditional French brocante markets and launched in 2018, Bedford Flea is a unique, eclectic market of quirky collectables, fabulous furniture, pre-loved books, vintage, vinyl, jewellery and clothing.
From 11am – 4pm, Bedford Flea is the perfect way to spend a lazy, sunny Sunday. We advise a lie-in and then head into Bedford to browse the stalls, meet the traders and snap up some one-of-a-kind bargains in the shadow of the historic St Paul’s Church.
Bedford Flea is back in 2019 on May 12th, June 23rd, July 21st, August 18th and September 8th and make the most of your day.
Meet up with friends in St Paul’s Square, grab a coffee from La Piazza and browse the stalls. Take a walk along the Embankment of the beautiful River Great Ouse and enjoy brunch, lunch, gelato, waffles or a pint in one of Bedford’s restaurants, bars, cafes or pubs – many Visit one – or all – of the town’s museums (we have three), hire a boat on the river and check out some of Bedford’s many independent shops (we have more than Cambridge). Miss it and you’ll definitely miss out!
