Kids Cookery Workshops

We have a packed programme in the Producer’s Tent for budding young chefs. Some activities have limited places, so pre-booking is advised.

Session 1:
11.15-12pm ‘Fun with Food: Chocolate Flower Pots
Join us to make a honey sweetened ‘flower pot’ with edible dirt, top soil and worm!

12:15 – 12.30pm Drop by and listen: ‘Eat a Rainbow Challenge
Emma Ince-Goulding of CookeryEatery discusses how to ‘Eat a Rainbow’ of colourful food.

Session 3:
1-1.30pm ‘Fun with Food: Watermelon Pizza Pops’.
Transform this popular summertime fruit into a cooling sweet treat.
Age: 2 ½ +

Session 4:
2-2.30pm Drop by and Listen: ‘Overcoming Fussy Eating
Emma Ince-Goulding draws on her experience, presenting ways to overcome picky eaters

Session 5:
3pm-3.30pm Workshop 5 ‘Lime Drizzle Mug Cake
Join us to make a moist alternative to the iconic lemon drizzle cake, in a handy takeaway pot ready to bake at home.
Age:  4 ½ +

Session 6:
4-4.45pm ‘Make & Take: Salsa Spaghetti’
Mexican flavours mixed with an Italian favourite, a quick & easy make perfect for busy schedules.
Age: 8+
Price: £12.50 each

Session 7:
5-5.30pm Drop by and listen: ‘Knife Skills 101
Emma Ince-Goulding presents basic knife skills for children. Child-friendly knives are available to buy from the stand.

Children under 5 should be supervised by an adult. Over 5’s can be unattended, but parents please stay on site.
